Senior Finance Manager – Accounting & Controlling (m/w/d)

 

Location: Pune, India

Ideal start date: April 1, 2026

Reporting Line: Global CEO (Germany) and Local CEO (India, Pune)

On behalf of our client, a well-established international German production company, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager – Accounting & Controlling.

This key leadership role carries full responsibility for Finance, Controlling, Accounting, and Administration. The position ensures financial health, compliance, and operational excellence, while providing strategic support to the global and local leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with IFRS and Ind AS.
  • Manage liquidity, financial risk, and statutory reporting.
  • Conduct variance analysis, performance reviews, and KPI monitoring.
  • Drive process optimization and cost efficiency.
  • Lead and develop a finance and administration team (approx. 10 FTE).
  • Foster collaboration across business functions and executive management.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and controlling, ideally within manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Ind AS, and experience in international corporate environments—preferably German or European.
  • Proven leadership in managing finance teams and strategic financial operations.
  • Business-fluent English (C1/C2); German is an advantage.
